Azurevine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 94 feet (28.7 meters).

It takes 10 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The wispy, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in black, vivid green and azure varieties, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of average grey flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.

It blooms only at night.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
