Copper Creeper

This colossal creeper is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,905 feet (580.6 meters) and growing as high as 934 feet (284.7 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 21 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2.3 feet (69 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The wide, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3.5 feet (1.1 meters) in length. They are beige and copper, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of average hazel flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny seed pods.
