ColorBlue

This colossal caudiciform grows up to 112 feet (34.1 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is faded yellow or blue, and is dotted with small gold spines. It has a straight, bulbous, yellow trunk atop a stumpy mess of wrinkled, exposed roots. The branches are wide and orange and are very short, thin and wispy.

The jagged-edged, very thick leaves are green at the bottom and violet with grey patches at the top. They are light, and detach easily.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are subtle blue in the center, muted green in the middle and blood red at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with several tightly layered round-tipped petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like chocolate.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the yellow flesh is slimy, and the brown sap is thin.
