Copperpine

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. Its pink-red stem is thin and splits into dozens of branching stems at the top, and the huge, red leaves are sickle shaped with ripped edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are violet on the edges and copper at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 13 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like pineapple, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
