Coppergrass

This short, moss green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are flexible and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, copper tuft.

During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
