Magenta

This massive fruit tree grows up to 47 feet (14.3 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 27 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in ridged, white with black speckled bark, and inside, the hard wood is black with white speckles.

The abundance of branches are very short, thin and wispy and are covered with large amounts of giant, fan-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are amber and magenta.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of medium-sized, pink blossoms with slender, pointed petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are very delicate and have a faint scent that smells like cinnamon.

In early autumn it produces , long, curved fruit. The sticky lime skin is thin and inedible, and the very soft turquoise flesh is sweet and very dry. The slate seeds are large and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with patches of undergrowth between them.
