Greyfin Succulent

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 16 feet (4.9 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is light grey, and is dotted with small faded red spines. It has a straight, round, bronze trunk atop a wide clump of knobbly, exposed roots. The branches are round and gray and trail down to the ground.

The smooth-edged, sickle shaped leaves are found in light grey, green and sky blue varieties. They are resistant, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with each petal a slightly different shade of copper grow at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is largely flat with 58 raised narrow petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like paint.

The caudiciform's skin is rock-hard, the turquoise flesh is smooth, and the subtle yellow sap is thin.
