Silvergrass

This small, silver grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in thick clumps that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, grey puff.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
