Blue Moss

This lime or blue moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On trees, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is big, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly delicate.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
