Bronze Petal
Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short flower grows up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. Its orange stem is thick and splits into several branching stems halfway up, and the large, lime green leaves are thick with rounded edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
6 to 8 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 6 cm (2.4 inches) wide, with petals that are bronze on the edges and black at the center. The flower head is made up of dozens of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.
It has a strong scent that smells like ashes, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
The sap is edible and slightly spicy.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
