Copperbell

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This colossal flower grows up to 8.6 feet (2.6 meters) tall. Its green stem is thick, and the giant, lime green leaves are stiff, pointed with irregular edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 8 times; a single large flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 57 cm (22.4 inches) wide, with brown petals on the lower layer and copper petals decorated with green dots on the inner layer. The central disk is amber. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 35 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like garlic, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It is suitable for making strong rope
It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
