Cream Puff Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are light and frail and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, cream puff.

During the early autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.

It makes a distinctive sound when the wind blows through it.
The bark, wood and leaves are edible.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for making strong rope
