Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This small bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 708 feet (215.8 meters).
It takes 3 months for the caramel or copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and slick.
The very thick, crispy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are dull red and dull red, and have rounded edges.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
