Silvervine

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This big cactus grows up to 95 feet (29.0 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is silver, and is covered in brittle deep green spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 6 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with alternating petals of faded green and cream, with an amber central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. It has an intense scent that smells like misty mornings.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the violet flesh is smooth, and the hazel sap is thin.

The leaves are very toxic, and very spicy.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It commonly grows in large patches.
