Crimson Vine

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 25 feet (7.6 meters)0.

It takes 4 years for the silver and moss green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The sickle shaped, clammy leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are generally crimson, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many large lilac flowers.

It is very resistant to fire damage.
All parts of the bine are edible.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
