Goldenvine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 49 feet (14.9 meters)0.

It takes 10 months for the yellow stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The needle-like, smooth leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are generally gold, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many balls of tiny blood red flowers.
