Crimson Grass

This small, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in extensive patches that are light and frail.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, cyan flower.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
