Black Creeper

This modest-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters)0. It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 4 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and woody.

The finger-like, crispy leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are generally black, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thousands of colossal white flowers.
