Ambervine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This giant bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,479 feet (450.8 meters) and growing as high as 379 feet (115.5 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 14 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 3.7 feet (1.1 meters) and are flat and wavy.
The circular, smooth leaves reach up to 2.8 feet (84 cm) in length. They are light brown and slate, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the bine produces several small amber flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small seed pods.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
