Blue Moss

This blue moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In rainforests, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly flexible; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
