Coppervine

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This huge flower grows up to 10.9 feet (3.3 meters) tall. Its green stem is wispy and straight with a curved tip, and the giant, copper leaves are light silver on the underside and are very thick with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single tiny flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 36 cm (14.2 inches) wide, with yellow petals and a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 8 petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has a strong scent that smells like warm milk, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.


It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
