Bloodgrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This big, emerald grass grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall. The spear shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, blood red tuft.
During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
