Copper vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 166 feet (50.6 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The wispy, soft leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid copper or gold, with pink lines, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many average pastel purple flowers.
