Copperflower

This small flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its copper stems grow in bunches of 5 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the giant, emerald or vivid blue leaves are asymmetrical with rounded edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 16 cm (6.3 inches) wide, with solid brilliant green petals decorated with aquamarine dots and a bright orange central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. They fall easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like candle wax, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
