Crimson Grass

This short, blood red or deep red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in large clumps that are flimsy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, gold tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of tiny grains.
