Blue Hazel Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This enormous creeper is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,296 feet (699.8 meters) and growing as high as 314 feet (95.7 meters).
It takes 37 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1.7 feet (51 cm) and are rough and prickly.
The wide, clammy leaves reach up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) in length. They are solid vivid blue with hazel splotches, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces dozens of average bright orange flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of small seed pods.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
