Crimson Vine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 40 feet (12.2 meters) and growing as high as 591 feet (180.1 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 19 months for the olive stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The needle-like, rough leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are generally crimson, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many colossal white flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny seed pods.
