Orangevine

This colossal vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,563 feet (781.2 meters) and growing as high as 564 feet (171.9 meters).

It takes 8 years for the white stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3.3 feet (1.0 meters) and are smooth and woody.

The pleated, waxy leaves reach up to 3.0 feet (91 cm) in length. They are green at the bottom and orange with lilac splotches at the top, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several average vibrant yellow flowers.
