Olivegrass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, olive tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few large grains.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
