Twisting Lime Tree

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous tree grows up to 142 meters (465.9 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 534 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a thick, twisting trunk covered in delicate, wrinkled, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the soft wood is white.

The small bunches of branches are short, thin and wispy and are covered with small amounts of crispy, huge, wispy leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are green on the edges and lime at the center.

In late summer it forms small, copper berries.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
