Waterleaf Grass

This modest-sized, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wide stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, blue flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
