Burgundy Grass

This small, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The crescent-shaped stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, amber spikelet.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen,but it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
