Copper

This large shrub grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 160 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of slender, curved stems covered in thin, knobbly, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are very short and slender with dozens of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of large, fan-like, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are copper and bold green, strong and smooth.

In early spring it produces lots of giant, bold blue flowers with kidney-shaped shaped petals. They detach easily and have a delicate scent that smells like lemon.
