Crimson Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 32 feet (9.8 meters) tall. The very thin stem is lime green and yellow-green, and is covered in brittle light orange spines. The smooth-edged, thick leaves are either green or crimson, with caramel streaks. Very large amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are flimsy, and take some effort to detach.

It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with solid silver petals decorated with crimson dots and a cyan central disk grow at the top, reappearing once every 4 years. The flower head is shaped like a heart made up of 14 tightly layered, narrow petals. It has an intense scent that smells like freshly washed clothes.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the magenta flesh is leathery, and the cream sap is thin.
