Turquoisebell

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This enormous flower grows up to 14.8 feet (4.5 meters) tall. Its turquoise stem is very thick, and the large, yellow-green leaves are heart-shaped with toothed edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 52 cm (20.5 inches) wide, with petals that are either indigo or olive, with a yellow center. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of handfuls of raised, narrow petals. They detach easily.

It has a weak scent that smells like candle wax, and it has an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
