Bronze

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 28 feet (8.5 meters) tall. The thin stem is orange, and is covered in dozens of fine, bronze, hair-like spines. The thick leaves are slate and yellow. Sparse amounts of them grow on thick, gray-green branches that are short and thin. The leaves are flimsy, and are very difficult to pull away.

It is steady-growing, taking 11 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are light orange at the sides and yellow at the center, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 49 petals. It has a weak scent that smells like coffee.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the bright purple flesh is rough, and the white sap is thin.
