Caramelvine

This large flower grows up to 5.4 feet (1.7 meters) tall. Its brown stem is thin and straight, and the tiny, red leaves are broad, flat with rounded edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 78 cm (30.7 inches) wide, with caramel petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 49 petals. They are hardy.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like varnish, and it has very little pollen; it can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.
