Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This huge bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,283 feet (695.9 meters) and growing as high as 537 feet (163.7 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 39 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 4.8 feet (1.4 meters) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The long, tapering, rough leaves reach up to 2.0 feet (61 cm) in length. They are a shade of copper that gradient shifts to gold at the top, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of large olive flowers.

Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
The leaves are very toxic, and very salty.
