Ashy Blue Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 48 feet (14.6 meters) and growing as high as 30 feet (9.1 meters).

It takes 4 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The wide, soft leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are either brown, or grey with ashy blue edges, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thousands of average beige flowers.


It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It spreads easily and often blanket large areas.
