Clinging Grass

This large, slate or white grass grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in sparse patches that are resilient and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, cream flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.
