Caramel Moss

This caramel moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps On trees.
It is giant, growing up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly rigid; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
