Coppergrass

This short, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in extensive patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, copper tuft.

During the mid-autumn, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
