Copper Moss

This copper moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In marshes, In rainy mountain ranges, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very resilient.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release thousands of spores.
