Aquamarine Tree

This big tree grows up to 67 meters (219.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 292 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a very thick, wavy trunk covered in paper-thin, cracked, gray bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is light brown.

The small bunches of branches are short and slender and are covered with thick bunches of fuzzy, large, spear shaped leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid aquamarine with magenta patches.

In early spring, it produces copious amounts of medium-sized, caramel blossoms with 7 oblong shaped petals. They fall easily and have a strong scent that smells like lemon.

In late summer it forms small, olive, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
