Silvergrass

This short, yellow-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The V-shaped stalks grow in extensive patches that are delicate and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, silver flower.

During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.
