Coppervine

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 83 feet (25.3 meters) and growing as high as 134 feet (40.8 meters).

It takes 18 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 7 inches (18 cm) and are smooth and slick.

The 5 pointed, rough leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are white on the edges and olive at the center, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thousands of large light grey flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces a handful of small berries.
