Bluebell

This small caudiciform grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The thick stem is sky blue, and is covered in handfuls of fine, yellow, hair-like spines. The straight, lime trunk can grow to as much as 1 foot (30.5 cm) in diameter in the middle. Its vivid red branches are tall, rigid and upright and start growing at the base the stem.

The large amounts of smooth-edged, wide leaves are solid intense purple or copper, with cream zig-zags. They are flimsy, and easily come away when pulled.

It is steady-growing, taking 5 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with hazel petals on the lower layer and violet petals decorated with beige dots on the inner layer. The central disk is beige grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of dozens of widely spaced, round-tipped petals. It has a powerful scent that smells like apple.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the cyan flesh is rubbery, and the cyan sap is thin.
