Blood Red

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This huge cactus grows up to 162 feet (49.4 meters) tall. It splits randomly along the body to form 6 perforated stems. Each stem is blood red, and is covered in sharp spines. The tear-shaped body is silver, and is covered in handfuls of flexible red spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are sky blue in the center, red in the middle and peach at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 55 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like cherry.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the aquamarine flesh is slimy, and the cream sap is thin.

It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
It is bio-luminescent.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
