Turquoise

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 62 feet (18.9 meters) tall. The needle-like stem is cream and hazel, and is covered in sharp spines. It has a crooked, narrow, red trunk atop a wide web of rough, exposed roots. The branches are thick and green and trail down to the ground.

The rounded-edged, stiff, pointed leaves are hazel with turquoise tips. They are tough, but take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with solid slate petals decorated with blue lines and a deep orange central disk, grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is shaped like a sphere with 28 raised, narrow petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like warm milk.

The caudiciform's skin is thick, the peach flesh is rubbery, and the sky blue sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
