Bronze

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short fruit tree grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for up to 10 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 25 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a narrow, angular trunk covered in paper-thin, silky, dark green bark, and inside, the very hard wood is dark brown.

The branches are very short and slender and are covered with copious amounts of giant, sickle shaped leaves with jagged edges. The leaves themselves are light brown at the bottom and faded orange with grey lines at the top.

In early spring, it produces many small, purple blossoms with asymmetrical petals. They are hardy and have a weak scent that smells like soap.

In early winter it produces , 4 pointed fruit. The hairy peach skin is peel-able and sweet, and the slightly crunchy bronze flesh is sweet and dry. The hazel seed is very large and is in the centre of the fruit.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with grassy ground between them.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
